Winning school
Bryandale Primary School is a well established school, which has a strong sense of tradition and pride. We have continued to grow and develop over the last 35 years. We have a shared vision of continuous improvement and thrive in our dynamic environment.  

We consistently keep looking into the visible future to identify changing trends, ensuring that our children receive relevant education, in a manner that they can relate to.

We offer a wide range of academic, sporting and cultural activities, which are supported by excellent resources.
Bryandale children grow up in a well structured, but caring environment. Once someone becomes part of the Bryandale family, there is a lifelong bond. We have a unique ethos, Christian values and morals are embraced.
We believe that winners are made, not born and our children are taught that winners pay attention to detail.

Our heart is our children and we continually redefine our strategies to ensure that we are focusing on our core business -the holistic education of our children.
Diversity is embraced; the individual is respected.
We strive for academic excellence, which creates critical thinkers. We teach them that life is full of choices and that each choice made defines who they are and what course their lives will take. They also learn that great success comes from great commitment and they are expected to follow through on any commitment that they make whether in the classroom or on the sports field.

Ongoing, consistent, professional development is imperative and high standards are required from all staff.

Winning parents
The partnership between the school and the parents is vital to the successful education of our children. Parents are encouraged to be involved in a number of projects in and around the school.
Members of the School Governing Body support the school in so many ways. They give of their time and expertise and ensure that the school is governed professionally. There are a number of sub committees such as Finance, BITES (ICT) and the Bryandale Parent’s Association.
Bryandale Parent’s Association’s creative fundraising projects enable us to ensure that our resources are supplemented. Parents also assist the teaches as “class moms”, and with reading, book covering, Parent’s in Prayer, cake and candy sales amongst other things.
The parents are thanked by the staff at our annual Desert Evening.

Winning Partners
One way of supplementing our resources and maintaining our standards is to outsource or form partnerships.

Active Education; runs our sports programme. We have noticed increased participation and development of the learners because of their integrated approach and well trained staff.

THRASS (Teaching Handwriting Reading And Spelling Skills), is a phonics teaching tool, that has a phonographic, multisensory, approach. THRASS uses a unique, analogous learning model that works ‘with’ the structure of English, making language acquisition much easier and faster than more conventional approaches, while maintaining linguistic correctness and sustainability in its content.
